Probably not a bad result for those responsible for food and drink. Of those who expressed a view that things have changed, 56% believe things have improved !


Match night announcements, music, sound quality ?

Conclusions ?

Again, of those who believe things have changed since last season, 57% believe it has improved !

As with some other areas, this one probably has greater significance to new fans than it does to the converted fans who traditionally take it all for granted !


Digital Media services (video, interview, stream, etc)

Conclusions ?

A huge vote of appreciation for what the team achieve !

Should we look to incorporate more of their work in external marketing and promotion ?


Match night entertainment excluding the game itself ?

Conclusions ?

Not a lot has changed compared with last season so those who consider it is now worse are probably saying it hasn’t improved …… if that makes sense !

Traditionally, as hinted at above, converted fans have only limited interest in this one as the attraction to them is the game itself but as part of the process of attracting and keeping new fans, this area shouldn’t be overlooked.


Merchandise ?

A general better than last season vote so moving in the right direction it would seem !


How well are the club promoting games to EXISTING fans ?

5 is good, 1 is not good so, overall, a reasonable thumbs up !


How well are the club promoting games away from the existing fanbase ?

Conclusions ?

A marked downturn in opinions compared to promotion to existing fans but, as suggested earlier, is it really a good time to be exposing our “product” to new fans ?


How in touch are the club with their fanbase ?

Conclusions ?

Pretty much an even spread of opinion but the 36% who voted negatively probably suggests some degree of concern here albeit the results are not dissimilar to ten years ago. As suggested in the past, it would be a good and positive step all round to have a formal fanbase representation in the decision making processes.
