A fantastic gesture today saw former Pirates and Phantoms players club together to replace the stolen mobility scooter of legendary fan Ken Cross with a new machine, appropriately badged up with logos from both teams as well as his familiar #1 fan tag !
The players surprised Ken at his care home in Stanground this afternoon where staff and fellow residents gathered to join in with the surprise.
A truly fantastic gesture from all involved and it is hoped we will see Ken along with his new wheels back at Bretton very soon !
