Tonight’s final league game for Team Penguins faces off at 6:15pm with Swindon Topcats the visitors but it also represents the twentieth anniversary of the club who were formed in 1998 after the demise of the Peterborough Ravens who had been playing since being a founder club in British women’s hockey in 1984.
Huge congratulations to everybody involved with the club, not just those ice warriors who have worn the shirt with pride even when the odds were so obviously stacked against them but also those individuals who have worked all the off-ice duties in administering the club and keeping it going over the twenty years.
