Nothing Else Matters

In 2010, a DVD was released to commemorate and celebrate the fantastic efforts in 1993 that saw a partly destroyed Bretton ice rink rebuilt not by professional builders but by fans, players and club officials ….. all of whom were determined that, against huge odds, they were going to save ice hockey in Peterborough.

The DVD sold out in 2010 but, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this incredible effort, it has now been re-issued.

“Nothing Else Matters” is 53 minutes long and includes TV footage but, most importantly, the rare VHS video footage that was taken during the rebuild itself. You will recognise the rink of today taking shape but you certainly won’t recognise quite what was involved in creating it !

No Peterborough hockey fan will be able to watch this without a tear in the eye …… it is what WE as Peterborough hockey fans are all about and it is what should make YOU proud to call yourself a Peterborough hockey fan !

In recognition of the huge sacrifices made by those involved to give us what we all take for granted today, ALL proceeds from this DVD will be reinvested in further supporting Peterborough hockey.
